In his remarks, Mr. Le Truong Duy<\/a> shared that AI is becoming a pivotal driver for national growth and competitiveness. As the Vietnamese Government issues key policies to promote AI research and application, Ho Chi Minh City stands ready with robust digital infrastructure and specialized mechanisms to pilot new technological models.<\/p>\n

Based on the AI development orientation of Vietnam and the City, the Director of HCMC C4IR proposed 4 priorities that need to be focused on in the coming time:<\/p>\n

First, shifting from \"technological capability\" to \"application value,\" which means moving from the question \"Do we have AI?\" to \"What problem does AI solve?\". HCMC C4IR is committed to being the focal point for absorbing effective models from the global network to assist Vietnamese enterprises in practical implementation.<\/p>\n

Second, perfecting flexible institutions through the implementation of testing mechanisms (sandboxes) for new technologies, creating conditions for AI models to be evaluated and institutionalized based on practical experience.<\/p>\n

Third, training talent and researching next-generation AI, focusing on training programs, knowledge transfer, and AI research orientation for edge data centers and quantum AI. Currently, HCMC C4IR is coordinating with WEF<\/a> to implement the VSMART program to optimize smart manufacturing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fourth, developing shared infrastructure through a multi-party cooperation mechanism to build an enterprise database in the direction of \"living data\" applying AI.<\/p>\n

Concluding his presentation, Mr. Le Truong Duy highly appreciated the accompanying role of technology partners and international innovation funds such as GenAI Fund and Alibaba Cloud. He also affirmed a consistent principle: Artificial intelligence must be developed responsibly, centered on humans, ensuring data safety and social trust.<\/p>\n

Following the opening session, the event continued with in-depth activities, including sharing sessions from the Alibaba Cloud and Qwen teams on the vision of promoting AI for SMEs and the Qoder solution; two discussion panels on cooperation between startups and large corporations, and the transition roadmap from testing to practical implementation with the participation of representatives from Hettich, Nova Group, Phuc Long, and Generali Vietnam; along with practical sessions on programming and content creation on AI platforms.<\/p>\n
