“With its strong industrial history, Turin now faces new challenges brought about by global and market changes. The connection between engineering groups, universities, and businesses is the key to forging a new future for industry, and this is perhaps a solution that should be applied worldwide,” Mr. Stefano Lo Russo emphasized.
Both HCMC and Turin have strong industrial bases, and these need to become greener in the future. The two localities can collaborate and share practical experiences to create stronger ties between Italy and Vietnam, providing citizens with more solutions to address challenges in sustainable development, combat climate change, and develop their industries.
The Mayor of Turin affirmed: “We must focus on artificial intelligence, the automotive industry, and aerospace. To achieve this, inter-university connections will be crucial. Therefore, Turin's presence at this year's HCMC Economic Forum is essential to consolidate cooperation between our two countries, both now and in the future.”
